Bathroom humor! (What else?)
So, yesterday I’m “takin’ a dump” as “they” are wont to to say, in the bathroom at my place of employ, and I found myself engaged in an activity that every now and then I find myself engaged in. Oh, come on. Don’t look at me like that. We *all* do it once in a while. Of course, I speak of….
…. looking at the tiles on the floor.
This particular floor is made up of alternating white and black tiles — a checkered pattern, don’tcha know. Each tile is about three square inches. So I’m staring vapidly at the floor, and I find that I’m creating squares by looking at groups of tiles. They could be squares containing nine tiles, or 16, they could have black corners or white. What I noticed was that I could not “see” more than one square at a time. A challenge! So I set out attempt to see more than one mind-created square at a time. And after a little practice, I was able to do it.
The end.
Oh. In case you’re thinking to yourself, “hmm, it must get better than this,” let me set you straight right now. It won’t.
